HOPE LECTORS: There has been some difficulty in getting the LCMS's
Church Year Calendar (Scripture Readings) to upload onto our website.
You can find the 2019-2020 Church Year Calendar in these places:
- click on the link at the top of this page: look for "2019-2020 Series A"
under "Church Year Calendars (Readings)"
- the"LCMS Church Year/Lectionary Calendar, Series A" printed on the back cover of Hope's newsletter (all readings for the month, plus readings for the first week of the following month will be published in each newsletter).
NOTE: The calendar inserted in the newsletter is from Reading the Word of God: A Daily [Bible] Reading Guide for Three Years, jointly published by the LCMS, NALC (North American Lutheran Church), & LCC (Lutheran Church Canada); it does not follow the lectionary schedule.
- the 2018-2019 Church Year Calendar posted on the church bulletin board
- your at-home copy of the 2019-2020 Church Year Calendar, Series A, which you received in your church mailbox in October, 2019. You will receive the next full-year lectionary calendar by November 2020, as we will move to Series B beginning in December 2020.
NOTE: A large print copy of the current Sunday's Scripture readings will be in
the lectors' church mailboxes, and on the lectern, when you arrive on Sunday morning.
