Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church rejoices in God’s Providence as
Reverend Benjamin Meyer has accepted our call to serve as our
pastor. We are delighted to welcome Pastor Meyer, his wife, Christine,
and their children, Timmy, Lucy, Cooper and Boaz, to the Hope
Lutheran family. All members of the community are invited to
attend Pastor Meyer's Installation Service @4:00 PM on Saturday,
June 25, 2016. The service will be followed by a potluck dinner.
Dear church members and visitors, we ask you to join us in praying
for a smooth and joyful transition for the Meyer family, and for God’s
blessing on our future ministry together at Hope. We also ask that
you remember in prayer Pastor Meyer’s former congregation,
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Woodsworth, Illinois, as they proceed
in the pastoral call process. May God richly bless our brothers
and sisters there with growth in faith in Christ, in their love for
one another, and in giving them a faithful pastor to lead their flock.
Lastly, we give thanks to God for the pastors who have served us
on many Sundays, and in various other ways since January of 2015:
Pastor Peter Reetz, & Pastor Daniel Ruff.
We also thank those pastors who served when our vacancy pastors
were not able to: Pastor George Pohlod, Pastor Dan Esala, and
Pastor Rice and Pastor Bell.

countenance upon you and give you peace." -- Numbers 6:24-26
