High School Upcoming Events & Details
High School Youth Nights: These nights exist to take you out of your element and into an atmosphere surrounded by Christ’s love. The nights will include dinner, hang-time, games, and a light devotion. We will be planning service projects as well as how we can impact the Columbus area.
Schedule for the coming months: Thursday Nights 6:00-8:00pm on the following dates. November 10, December 1, December 15, January 5, January 19.
Mission Trip Planning Meeting November 18, 2011 Parents and students encouraged to come find our more information about this amazing opportunity to serve in 2012 on a continental mission trip. We need 5 people to show interest before choosing a location. For all current 8th grade students thru college ages. Total cost, transportation, location options, general information and more presented on November 18, 2011 6:30-7:30pm.

Junior High Upcoming Events & Details
November 18, 2011 6:30-9:00pm Movie Night We will be playing games, and watching a movie of the youth's choice. It must be G or PG. They should bring the movie to the night. Friends and those who brought friends get FREE candy. Everyone gets FREE popcorn and pop. No permission slip or RSVP needed, just show up!
December 2-3, 2011 LOCK-IN The Junior High lock-In is a fellowship night that is in a safe and secure location for students to be able to have a ton of fun with other Christian kids. Here is a breakdown of the activities that will be happening in the night and the schedule. You do NOT have to stay for the entire night. Parents can choose to pick up their kids early or stay for only a portion of the night. This is a Christian event and there will be devotions throughout the night. Please read through the following and decide if you would like your child to participate in this fun filled night.

- Child to Adult Ratio: 5 kids to every 1 adult.
- High School Students to help assist with games and devotions.
- Sleeping Rooms will be established for boys and girls in separate locations.
- “Calming Periods” established around 3AM to settle them down.
- God is in the building – Not just up all night caffeine high, but a God experience.
- First Aid on site and permission slips must be filled out.
- Friends come free, Members pay $15.00 to offset costs, includes movie
- Drop Off at Local Movie Theater to begin night and scavenger hunt.
- Pick Up at Hope Lutheran Church for Pancake Breakfast.
