We have been brainstorming for the last couple of months regarding the best plan for VBS in 2012.  After meeting with the leaders of the program (Glenda Mihaly, Tracy Chesney, & Kevin Eichhorn), we decided to try something a little different this year.   We wanted this year’s theme and biblical teaching to have a little more punch and a lot more depth.  We all decided that without a parental aspect in VBS, then we can only teach so much.  This year the theme will be “Secret Agents” which will focus on the kids discovering new things in the bible, hunting down clues from scripture, and investigating the character Daniel.  Everyday there will be different mysteries to solve for each child AND for each family.  The goal being that the parents will have an active role in the program too!  Friday, June 15 & and Saturday June 16 will be two, four hour sessions from 1:00pm-5:00pm.   On Sunday June 17, we will be starting at 9:00am before church and ending with a celebration and church picnic following the late service.  There will be prizes, games, and adventure during this action packed weekend! 

Sign-up will begin for Volunteers and Participants on April 15 on the church bulletin board.  The cost will be $10.00 to cover costs for supplies.
