Gardening at Hope

Hope’s Gardening Group is growing… all sorts of things! In the Spring and Summer you’ll find many folks in the back acre of Hope planting, weeding, and just plain relaxing in the gardens!

Work is progressing on the walking path and sitting area in the gardens. In the 2009 season the wooden cross was added with benches around. The path was mulched and ground cover added alongside. There’s so much room to continue to add to this garden it is exciting to watch it expand!

The vegetable and flower garden produced many zinnias, tomatoes, zucchini a little corn and a few pumpkins. All of us at Hope enjoyed the flower bouquets and great veggies this year!

Everyone is invited to join this active group! They meet on Wednesday evenings in the gardens beginning in the Spring and throughout the summer.
